A shoplifter must repay more than £190 after stealing electric razors and toothbrushes from an Asda store in County Durham.
Thomas Wales, 40, of no fixed abode, appeared at Peterlee Magistrates’ Court on October 12.
He admitted two shoplifting offences at the Asda in Stanley.
Wales stole two Gillette electric razors worth £57.99 on August 6.

Three days later, he stole two toothbrushes worth £140 from the same store.
Magistrates ordered Wales to pay Asda £57.99 for the razors and £140 for the toothbrushes in compensation.
Magistrates took his guilty plea into account when sentencing him.
