A new after-dark light trail is set to bring festive sparkle to the East Yorkshire countryside this winter.

Winterlight: The Tudor Glow will run from December 3 to 23 at Burton Constable Hall & Parkland, offering a 645-metre illuminated journey through woodland and parkland.

The trail will feature Tudor-inspired sculptures, light displays, and visual projections.

Alasdair Hutson, chief executive of the Burton Constable Foundation, said: "Christmas is all about spending time with family and friends and making special memories together.

"We wanted to give Hull and East Yorkshire a magnificent festive light trail close to home."

The event will also include seasonal refreshments, glowing photo spots, and illuminated views of the historic hall.

Timed entry will begin at 4pm, with the final entry at 7.15pm and the trail closing at 9pm.

Advance booking is recommended to secure preferred times and dates.
