POSTERS have caused criminal damage around a York university campus, police say.

North Yorkshire Police has launched an appeal after the posters were positioned around York St John University at approximately 9.20pm on Tuesday (September 22).

The force believe the people in these images will have information that could help their investigation.

A spokesperson said: "We would like to speak to them following a report of criminal damage that took place in York.
