York Podiatry Ltd has achieved its fifth consecutive year of accreditation from the Good Business Charter (GBC), a UK-wide scheme promoting responsible business practices.

Rebecca Hargreaves, founder and managing director of York Podiatry, said: "We’re proud to be accredited by the Good Business Charter for our 5th year now.

"This milestone reflects our dedication to upholding the highest ethical standards in all our operations, and we urge other businesses to follow suit by embracing responsible practices that benefit business and society."

The GBC was established by retail entrepreneur Julian Richer in collaboration with organisations including the Confederation of British Industry, Trades Union Congress, and Federation of Small Businesses.

It sets a benchmark for responsible business in the UK.

The charter means fairer working conditions, a stronger commitment to employee inclusion and wellbeing, paying fair tax, and reducing its impact on the environment.
