An artisan market is set to bring autumnal charm to Acomb this weekend.

The Acomb Artisan Market, returning on Saturday, October 17, from 10am to 3pm, will transform Front Street into a vibrant showcase of creativity, featuring a curated selection of Yorkshire makers, producers, and artisans.

Visitors can browse stalls offering locally produced art, crafts, dog treats and accessories, homeware, and a wide variety of food and drink.

Jackie Crozier, managing director of Little Bird Made, said: "There is a definite change in the air, and here at Little Bird we are excited to celebrate the start of the new season with the wonderful community in Acomb.

"Our markets are more than just a place to shop.

"They are a chance to enjoy these gorgeous autumn days, discover a new favourite product, and support the incredible local artisans we have right here in Yorkshire."

The market aims to capture the spirit of autumn, with stallholders offering goods that reflect the season’s atmosphere and beauty.

Ami Wills, founder and illustrator at The Crafty Northerner, said: "Autumn is my favourite time of year to pop up at the market.

"There’s always such a fantastic community vibe along Front Street, and it’s the perfect place to start gathering unique, thoughtful gifts."
