Police have recovered a stolen car in Bradford.

Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team found the Toyota C-HR at Victoria Road Industrial Park in Eccleshill.

PS Brown found the vehicle during a patrol after it was stolen in the early hours of October 12.

A spokesperson for Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "It was a productive end to the shift for Team 2 Shipley NPT.

"PS Brown was on patrol looking for a number of outstanding stolen vehicles, when he ventured over the border into Eccleshill.

"Whilst there at the Victoria Road Industrial Park, Victoria Road, Eccleshill, he located this stolen Toyota C-HR, which had been stolen in the early hours of October 12.

"As he arrived a male on an e-motorbike made off, and a Blue Mercedes also made off.

"Enquiries into those are ongoing.

Police believed the suspects had a device that bypassed the need for a key.

Police seized the device.

A spokesperson for the Shipley NPT added: “One phone call to the victim and they were extremely happy their vehicle had been safely recovered."

“Please continue to report suspicious activity and follow our keyless theft crime prevention advice shared earlier in the week.”
