A popular pub is set to close for a £230,000 refurbishment.
The Mustard Pot, located in Chapel Allerton, Leeds, shut on October 12, and will reopen on November 4, as a Grandstand sports pub.
The work is part of a transformation by Marston’s to deliver a stadium-style experience for guests.
Zoe Eastwood, operations manager, said: "We are so excited about the plans to re-open as a Grandstand pub.
"We know our locals are sporting mad and can’t wait to be able to offer them the best possible experience when they can visit us again."
The refurbishment will include new technology, including multiple massive screens, an immersive state-of-the-art sound system, and flexible tiered seating to ensure every guest has a great view of the action.
The beer garden will also be refurbished, with new TV screens installed.
Guests will be able to order using Marston’s Order & Pay app.
The pub will show all major sporting fixtures, including football, rugby, cricket, tennis and F1.
A new Match Day Menu will offer snacks and pub classics.
Marston’s has selected The Mustard Pot for the Grandstand concept due to its strong ties with local sports teams, community groups, and charities.
