A SPOOKY steam train will soon be rolling into town as part of a family-friendly Halloween adventure.
Keighley & Worth Valley Railway will host the event at Oxenhope Station from October 29 to 31, offering visitors a journey on The Spooky Express through the Worth Valley.
Noel Hartley, business and operations manager at Keighley & Worth Valley Railway, said: "There is something about an old railway at Halloween that does half the work for you.
"Steam, smoke, tunnels, old stations and dark engine sheds already have plenty of atmosphere.
"We’re adding a few things that definitely aren’t normally found at Oxenhope.
"The Haunted Engine Shed and Spooky Show start the adventure before everyone boards The Spooky Express, and passengers need to keep their eyes open because there may be a few surprises waiting around the railway.
"It’s designed to be fun rather than terrifying, although we can’t promise everyone will make it through without jumping at least once."

The experience begins in the Haunted Engine Shed at Oxenhope, featuring mysterious characters, live performances, and a Spooky Show before passengers board the train.
Carriages will be decorated for Halloween, and visitors are encouraged to come in costume, with prizes awarded for some of the best costumes.
