Two people were rescued after their vehicle became stranded on the Holy Island Causeway in the lifeboat crew’s second emergency call-out of the day.
The incident happened near the refuge hut at 2.58pm on Sunday, October 11, and was attended by Seahouses RNLI lifeboat crew and Berwick Coastguard Rescue Team.
Both were brought ashore safely and had no reported injuries.

The rescue came hours after the Seahouses crew had raced against the tide to save a father and son stranded on a sandbank at Budle Bay.
The lifeboat was launched at 1.12 pm after members of the public reported that the pair had been cut off.
The father and son tried to reach shore but had to return to the shrinking sandbank and await rescue.

Seahouses and Howick Coastguard Rescue Teams warned the pair had only moments before the sandbank was fully submerged.
The RNLI crew brought them to safety. Neither was injured, but both were cold and wet and were handed to coastguards for medical checks.
RNLI volunteer crew member David said: "These people were incredibly lucky. They didn't have long left before they'd have been forced to enter the water. Once we had dropped them ashore and turned to leave the Bay, their island was completely submerged."

The two rescues made it a busy day for Seahouses volunteers, who had also carried out an all-weather lifeboat exercise that morning.
The incidents were volunteer crew member Anna's first and second operational shouts.

She said: "It was fantastic to put into practice all the skills I've learnt and be on service alongside my crewmates. The first rescue was a real race against the tide to save the father and son. The second was a causeway shout, a regular operation for our station and great to be part of it."
The RNLI said both incidents showed how quickly and powerfully tides can rise along the coast, warning that a simple beach walk can quickly become dangerous.
The RNLI urged people to check official safe crossing times, allow plenty of time and never cross the causeway when water covers the road.
