Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) celebrated National Cadet Week with an Open Day at Duncombe Barracks.
The Lord Mayor of York, Councillor Margaret Wells, was the guest of honour at the Clifton event.
She was welcomed by B Company's Officer Commanding, Major Mike Richardson, and the Lord-Lieutenant's Cadet for North Yorkshire, Cadet Sergeant Freddie Robinson.
She then spent two hours looking around the different stands and speaking to the cadets and CFAVs.
