Two public toilets in a North Yorkshire town have been vandalised.
Facilities in the Castle Yard car park and on Fisher Street were targeted between Friday and Saturday, 9 and 10 October.
They threw paint over the walls and pulled a sink from the wall and smashed.
The cost of the damage is estimated at £1,000.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area during this period or who may have information that could assist our enquiries.
“Incidents such as these have a direct impact on the local community and result in unnecessary repair costs to public facilities.”
