AN inquest has been held into the death of a much-loved Keighley man.
The hearing at Bradford Coroner's Court heard that Kevin Andrew Tyson died on May 16, 2026, aged 63.
Known to family and friends as Kev, Mr Tyson was born on August 9, 1962.
He had previously worked for a haulage firm and as a labourer but had been unable to work for some time because of ill health.
He was living alone at the time of his death.
The inquest heard he had a history of medical problems, including Type 1 diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis and mental health concerns.
He regularly saw diabetes specialists and was referred for help after suffering with low mood in April 2026.
Assistant Coroner Ian Pears noted Mr Tyson had been "quite attentive with his health".
The inquest heard how paramedics were called to Mr Tyson's home at 7.45pm on May 16 where he was found dead.
A statement from a West Yorkshire Police detective inspector confirmed there were no signs of disturbance at the house, which was locked, and no evidence to suggest the involvement of any third party.
The coroner recorded the cause of death as coronary artery stenosis - a narrowing of the arteries supplying the heart - and cocaine use.
Diabetes was listed as a secondary factor, not a direct cause of death.
'Remember him for the good times'
Recording a drug-related death, Mr Pears said there was no evidence of suicide or unlawful killing.
Addressing the family, he said: "Commiserations for your loss.
"Clearly you all love him dearly. Hopefully you'll be able to remember him for the good times.
"From the statement it sounds like there were a lot of them."
