Two schools have been closed to all students after losing hot water and heating.
All Saints Academy and Myton Park Primary School, in Ingleby Barwick, have been forced to shut all day today (October 12).
Stockton Borough Council said the closures are due to there being no gas supply, meaning the two Blair Avenue schools have no heating or hot water.
They are both expected to reopen tomorrow.
A spokesperson said: “All Saints CE Academy and Myton Park Primary School in Ingleby Barwick will both be closed for all pupils today (Monday, October 12) because there is no gas supply meaning no heating or hot water.
“The schools are hoping to reopen tomorrow (Tuesday, October 13).”
