A Cleveland Police officer is accused of sharing confidential information with a suspect’s relative while in a busy bar.
PC 3259 Henry faces a misconduct hearing accused of sharing sensitive information about an investigation, messaging a suspect and continuing to socialise with the suspect’s relative while off duty last summer.
The allegations arise from a night out drinking in the bar at the Zetland Hotel, known locally as the top house, in Marske, on July 12, 2025.
A three-day hearing will begin in Stockton today (Monday, October 12).
A listing says PC Henry struck up a conversation with a man known as Mr B.

The officer allegedly shared confidential information and continued socialising with him after learning of his connection to an investigation.
PC Henry is then said to have used Mr B’s phone to text the suspect.
The constable is then alleged to have continued drinking with Mr B, visited his flat in the early hours of July 13, and later exchanged contact details and messages to arrange another social meeting, despite learning of his link to Mr A.
