Leeds mobile speed camera locations across city this week - all 30mph, 40mph and 50mph roads

The cameras are once again in force across the city's roads

Mobile speed cameras will be out in force across Leeds this week.

The mobile speed cameras will be put in place by the West Yorkshire Police Camera Enforcement Unit on behalf of the West Yorkshire Safety Camera Partnership. They will once again be introduced onto our roads in both core camera sites and community concern sites across the city of Leeds.

A core camera site is an area in which there is a high rate of accidents, while a community concern site has been highlighted by local people or authorities.

The cameras function by shining a laser on passing vehicles to determine their speed. This laser works in a variety of light and weather conditions.
