Gabby Logan received emphatic two-word message from family after 'daytime sex' admission

BBC presenter Gabby Logan has admitted her family sent her a blunt two-word message after she discussed her sex life with husband Kenny Logan on their Midpoint podcast

Well-known BBC presenter and podcaster Gabby Logan has revealed she received a blunt, two-word message from her family shortly after candidly discussing her sex life with husband Kenny in a public setting.

Gabby, 53, co-hosts a podcast alongside her husband and former rugby star Kenny Logan, 54, where the pair openly chat about their lives and the challenges of navigating middle age. However, a recent episode saw the couple delve into the details of their intimate life, which didn't go down too well at home.

The revelation sparked a reaction in the Logan family's WhatsApp group, Gabby confessed to The Times, with her 21-year-old fraternal twins, Lois and Reuben, making their displeasure known.

She told the publication: "When Kenny and I did a Midpoint podcast episode about his prostate cancer, my kids found it toe-curling because we talked about our sex life. I'd get messages on our family WhatsApp, like, 'Enough now'."

This is far from the first occasion Gabby has been forthright about her relationship with Kenny, whom she first encountered in a bar back in 1998 before tying the knot three years later, in 2001, reports the Daily Star.

Last year, the BBC Sport presenter opened up about how hormone replacement therapy (HRT) had significantly boosted her libido, having previously feared that intimacy might "become a duty" due to her waning interest in it. However, Gabby acknowledged that this had changed within a fortnight of starting HRT.

According to The Sun, she said: "My libido came back within about a week and our sex life was back on track - even to the extent of having daytime sex."

Gabby was subsequently questioned about these remarks on the We're Not Getting Any Younger podcast by fellow broadcaster Lisa Snowdon, who also enquired about her intimate life with Kenny.

Addressing her previous statements, Gabby responded: "The word romp, I don't think has ever come out of my mouth until that week when I was paraphrased as, 'Now the kids have left home, we can have daily romps'.

"I think what I'd said was, someone had said something about sex life with midlife women and things, and I was saying at least when the kids go home, you're not confined to evening sex. So in theory, you could have sex during the day."

Gabby also went on to clarify why she may have made those remarks: "I was totally oblivious to it until about 6pm because I was doing loads of podcasts and I'm wandering around and sometimes you know, 'People have looked at me that day having read that headline', and they're probably thinking, 'She better get home, it's time for a romp'."
