Property consultancy Savills has announced two senior appointments in its Scottish residential division, naming new leaders for its country house team and west of Scotland business.
Harry Maitland has been appointed head of the Scottish Country House team, while Peter Walker will lead the residential business across Glasgow and the west of Scotland.

The appointments form part of Savills’ strategy to develop talent from within the business and strengthen its Scottish leadership team.
Mr Maitland succeeds Jamie Macnab, who led the Scottish Country House team for 36 years and helped establish Savills as a leading adviser in Scotland’s prime country house market. Mr Macnab will now focus on the St Andrews market, where he remains a specialist.
Mr Maitland first joined Savills 16 years ago and returned in 2019 after a period in Canada. He has worked closely with Mr Macnab and is regarded as an experienced adviser in Scotland’s prime residential sector.
Mr Walker was promoted to head of residential in Glasgow earlier this year and will now oversee the wider west of Scotland business, covering an area stretching from Dumfries to Inverness. He joined Savills in 2018.
