The company behind one of the largest sawmills in the UK has posted a rise in revenue and profit.

The Ayrshire-registered firm that dates back five generations unveiled a rise in revenue of £3.2 million to £85.6m.

Glennon Brothers (UK) Limited showed a profit of £3.7m in newly posted accounts for year ended December 30, 2025, set against a £2.4m profit in the prior period.

It pointed to potential timber pressures including events such as oil production disruption.

The company also said: “Such events would include, but are not limited to, natural disasters, economic downturns, oil production disruption and a reduction in the supply of logs.
