Other recruitment hotspots include Edinburgh Kinnaird and Straiton, where 87 roles are available; Inverness and Elgin, with 43 vacancies; and Berwick and Galashiels, with 24 positions.
The jobs will involve hands-on work in stores during one of the retailer’s busiest periods of the year. M&S said seasonal positions can also provide a route into longer-term employment.
