Harrogate Home Care Provider Reports Reduction in Client Falls

A home care provider operating in Harrogate says it has reduced falls among its clients by 26% since it began tracking health outcomes in 2021, according to its latest annual review.

Carefound Home Care said its figures also showed a 12% reduction in hospitalisations over the same period, which the company attributes to its approach to personalised care and falls prevention.

The results form part of the company’s 2026 annual review, which examines client health outcomes, satisfaction levels and staff experiences across its home care services.

Client satisfaction

According to Carefound, client satisfaction surveys recorded a 100% satisfaction rate for the second consecutive year, with 96% of respondents saying they would recommend the service.

The company also reported that all care professionals who responded to its staff survey said they were satisfied with their jobs and proud to work for the organisation.

However, the company has not provided a breakdown of the survey sample sizes or response rates in its press release.

Training and care provision

Carefound said its staff development programme had contributed to its approach to care. The programme received a Princess Royal Training Award in 2025.

The company provides home care services across Yorkshire, Cheshire and Nottinghamshire, including hourly visits, live-in care and respite support. Its services range from help with everyday tasks and personal care to support for people living with more complex conditions, including dementia.

Carefound’s Wilmslow, West Bridgford and Harrogate branches have been rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), according to the company.
