A North Yorkshire equipment rental group says it remains confident in its outlook thanks to strong performance in infrastructure markets.
Harrogate-based Vp plc said momentum in electricity transmission and water infrastructure is boosting its UK operations.
Alice Woodwark, chief executive of Vp plc, said: "The first half of the financial year has again demonstrated the strength and resilience of our diverse business model.
"Momentum in our UK segment increases our second half confidence, where we remain well positioned to take advantage of supportive infrastructure markets, specifically in water and electricity transmission.
"We will provide further details at our interim results."
The company said activity in rail remains stable and there is momentum in water as AMP8 activity has grown in the second quarter.
Its Brandon Hire Station division has performed better following a restructure.
International operations also continue to perform well, and the group remains on course to perform in line with market expectations for the year ending 31 March 2027, with H2 FY27 expected to outperform H2 FY26.
