A new city centre business has applied for a licence to sell alcohol from a former charity shop.
26-28 Sunbridge Road is the former St Vincent’s Charity shop, and has been vacant for some time.
But the prominent unit is soon to re-open as Afro Pantry, an African, Asian and Caribbean grocery store.
The business, Afropantry Ltd, has now applied to Bradford Council for an alcohol licence.
If approved it would allow the new store to sell alcohol from 9am to 8pm on Monday to Saturday and from noon to 6pm on Sundays.
People have until October 30 to have their say on the licence application.
