The luxury Flying Spur was available for £124,975, a near £100,000 reduction from the value of the car.

It previously carried the personalised number plate 'DOY' for Duke of York, though this was removed after the former prince was stripped of his royal titles.

Clive Watson, owner of Portland Autos, selling the car, said: "We didn’t buy the car from the royal household directly, it came through a third party.

"But the fact that it was owned by a royal is likely to help sell it as it is both something of interest about the car and it means it will have been incredibly well cared for.

"The Bentley is beautiful, in flawless condition and has just 7,000 miles on it."

The car is now marked on the company website as being reserved.

The vehicle was valued at around £220,000 when new and is described in the dealership’s listing as an "ex royal family car".

It comes with a cream leather and walnut interior, 22-inch polished alloy wheels, LED welcome lamps, a sunroof and a Breitling clock.

Andrew took delivery of the Bentley in 2021, originally in blue before it was resprayed in racing green.

He used the car during high-profile family events, including the funeral of his father, Prince Philip, in April 2021, and his granddaughter Sienna’s christening the following April.

The Bentley was reportedly sold to a specialist Bentley dealership in 2024 or 2025.

DVLA records have shown that two licence plates with the initials DOY, which had been used by the disgraced ex-Duke were no longer registered.

Last October, he and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson were seen in a £115,000 Land Rover with a different registration - making no apparent reference to any royal status - while attending the Duchess of Kent’s funeral.
