Ghoulish fun and ghostly surprises are taking over a historic Middlesbrough mansion this half-term.
Ormesby Hall will become a Halloween adventure from October 24 to November 1, with giant monsters, themed activities and ghostly encounters.
The highlight of the event will run from October 28 to 31, with a full Halloween experience, including a live performance of The Skeleton Bride by The Walking Theatre Company, and access to the hall and grounds.

Leanne Allan, senior visitor experience officer at Ormesby Hall, said: "Halloween is one of our favourite times of the year at Ormesby Hall and the team goes to enormous lengths to transform the house for families.
"Children aren't walking through a purpose-built attraction – they're exploring a real historic house, with monsters and surprises appearing throughout rooms that have hundreds of years of history behind them.
"For £17.50, a family can explore the Halloween house, take on the Monster Seeker Journal around the gardens, enjoy crafts in the stables and see a live performance of The Skeleton Bride.
"We know the cost of entertaining children during the school holidays can quickly add up, so we're really proud of how much families can experience here for that price."

Young visitors will receive a Monster Seeker Journal on arrival, leading them on a trail through the gardens, courtyard and stables in search of six giant monsters, with interactive activities along the way.
The historic stables will host spooky crafts and colouring, while visitors can also explore the mansion and grounds.

Families are also encouraged to arrive in costume as witches, vampires, skeletons or other spooky characters.
An outdoor food kiosk will operate during the main half-term week, serving hot dogs and crumble pots alongside refreshments available in the on-site café to keep everyone fuelled throughout the festivities.
For those looking for a spookier experience, Ormesby Hall will also host special evening events on October 28 and 29.
