A major fireworks display will light up the sky in Teesside this autumn for the first time in five years.
Stockton Fireworks display will return to the riverside on Sunday, November 1, alongside a full day of entertainment for all ages, including a funfair, food and drink stalls, and live music.
The event runs from 12pm to 9pm, with fireworks at 6.30pm to a modern orchestral soundtrack.

Councillor Nigel Cooke said: "We’re delighted to be bringing the Stockton Fireworks display back to the Riverside after five years away, and in that time the town centre has been completely transformed, with the fantastic new Waterfront park offering a brand new vista and whole new experience for the event along with the Riverside.
"Stockton Fireworks, one of the North East’s biggest free displays, has always been one of the Borough’s most popular events, and we know residents and visitors alike will be excited to see it return on Sunday 1 November.
"With the spectacular River Tees providing the backdrop, it promises to be a fantastic evening for families and friends to come together and enjoy – so you don’t want to miss it."
The day will feature live entertainment from local artists Caitlin Morrow, Joe Ramsey and George Bailey.

The Anywhere Anything Band will also take to the stage with their lively, interactive style set to draw crowds.
The best viewing spots will be along Riverside Road, beside Riverside Car Park, off Bishop Street and at the amphitheatre in the new waterfront urban park.
Cllr Cooke said: "The entertainment begins long before the fireworks light up the night sky, so make a day of it and head into Stockton town centre from noon.
"Enjoy the funfair, sample delicious food and drink, and soak up the atmosphere with live music from talented local performers in Finkle Square.
"Whether you’re spending the whole day with us or joining for the free evening celebrations, there’ll be something for everyone this year – so come along, soak up the atmosphere, and be part of this exciting return."
The council hopes launching the fireworks from the Teesdale side of the river will make viewing safer and more enjoyable from Riverside Road and the new Waterfront park.

Cleveland Fire Brigade has welcomed the return of the organised display and is encouraging residents to attend official events rather than setting off fireworks at home.
Hannah Smith, Head of Prevention and Engagement at Cleveland Fire Brigade, said: "We welcome the return of the Stockton Fireworks display this year and encourage residents to attend organised events.
"Professionally managed displays provide a much safer environment for spectators and help reduce the number of firework-related incidents that emergency services respond to each year.
"They are also a great way to bring communities together, allowing people to enjoy the celebrations safely with family and friends."
