Police are hunting a group of men after a man was robbed and assaulted in Middlesbrough.
The attack happened around 9.50pm on Friday July 10 outside Belle Vue Shops on Marton Road.
A group of men put a man in his 30s in a chokehold, punched and kicked him on the ground, then stole his bicycle and other belongings, Cleveland Police said.
The men attacked him again when the victim got up and tried to chase them.
One man then slashed the victim’s forehead with a bladed weapon, leaving him bleeding on the ground.
Three people have been arrested in connection with the robbery but have since been released with no further action.
Police now want to find the identities of these two men.
One is described as having dark brown scruffy hair, glasses, and a dark brown medium-length beard.
He was not wearing a T-shirt but appeared to have a dark-coloured top tucked into his shorts, and had a small bag around his neck.
