An award-winning North East brewery has teamed up with a train operator to create a bespoke craft beer for its passengers.
Newcastle brewery Full Circle Brew Co developed Brewmo exclusively for Lumo’s East Coast services.
The partnership began with a tasting session that helped choose the beer’s name.

Rachel Firth, head of customer experience at Lumo, said: "We’re delighted to team up with Full Circle to launch this quality beer especially for our customers.
"It was wonderful to visit the brewery to see at first-hand the care and expertise involved in creating a brand new beer.
"The taste testing confirmed that Brewmo is a first-class product.

"We’re always looking for new ways to enhance our customer experience and I’m sure Brewmo will be a popular addition to our selection of tasty onboard refreshments."
Lumo ambassadors will serve Brewmo cans as part of the onboard refreshment service.
The beer will be available to passengers travelling on the operator’s East Coast route.

Ben Cleary, founder of Full Circle Brew Co, said: "We’re extremely proud that one of our craft beers will be served exclusively on local rail services.

Founded in 2019, Full Circle Brew Co is now a recognised independent brewery.
Its beers are sold across the UK and exported to 12 countries.
The brewery has also won several industry awards.

Lumo scored 90 per cent for overall customer satisfaction in the Rail Customer Experience Survey (RCXS), covering October 2025 to March 2026.
That put Lumo among the top three long-distance train operators.
Lumo also ranked highest for value for money in the survey.
