Amanda Owen's son Reuben has been hailed as a "knight in shining armour" after repeatedly coming to the rescue of his mum and stranded television crews in the Yorkshire Dales.
The former Our Yorkshire Farm star has become known for his skills with machinery and his own heavy plant business since viewers first watched him growing up at Ravenseat with parents Amanda and Clive and his eight siblings.
But it has now emerged that those skills have proved particularly useful behind the scenes of the family's television programmes.
Reuben has rescued members of the production team on at least two occasions after they became stranded in difficult conditions, as well as once coming to his mum's aid during a snowstorm.

The stories emerged during Our Farm Next Door: A Behind-the-Scenes Celebration at Everyman Northallerton on Wednesday, September 30.
James Knight, creative director at Wise Owl Films, which produces Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids, revealed how useful Reuben has proved when things have gone wrong during filming.
He said: "He pulled us out of some scrapes at times.
"He was our knight in shining armour at times."
Amanda then joked about her son's habit of being ready for action.
She said: "He's always in his hi-vis, bless him, and always on hand to help anyone."
One of the incidents involved a member of the camera team becoming stuck in floodwater while travelling in an electric van.
Reuben was called upon to help get them out.
The stories illustrate some of the difficulties faced by Wise Owl Films while documenting the Owen family's lives in remote Upper Swaledale.
Knight also revealed during the Northallerton event that production drones have been attacked by nesting birds of prey, while winter weather and access can create major problems for camera crews.
But Reuben's rescues have not been confined to the television team.

The incident meant the person coming to her aid was someone who had grown up learning how to handle the difficult conditions surrounding the family's remote home.
Reuben became a familiar face through Our Yorkshire Farm, with viewers watching his enthusiasm for machinery develop from a young age.
He has since gone on to establish his own business and front his own television programmes, including Life in the Dales.
