A family-run business that has championed Yorkshire farming, food and innovation for nearly two decades from its base in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds has been named Producer or Grower of the Year.
Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil, based at North Breckenholme Farm near Malton, received the accolade at The Press Food and Drink Awards 2026.
The venture has built a reputation for producing award-winning cold-pressed rapeseed oils and mayonnaise using seed grown locally by the company and trusted Yorkshire farmers.
From seed to bottle, every stage of production takes place on the farm, ensuring low food miles, exceptional quality and complete traceability.
This year marks a special milestone for Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil as the business celebrates its 18th birthday.
Since launching in 2008, it has become a familiar name in farm shops, delis, cafés and restaurants across the region, with its products also featuring on the menus of acclaimed venues including the Michelin-starred Pipe and Glass.
