A man has been jailed for managing a brothel in Bradford.

Yinfa Zhang, 55, of no fixed abode, was sentenced to one year in prison after admitting the offence.

He was arrested in April after officers from the Bradford City Centre Neighbourhood Policing teams executed warrants at addresses in the city.

Zhang appeared at Bradford Crown Court on October 5 and was also served with an immediate deportation order upon release.

Two women found at an address in Bradford have since been safeguarded.

Inspector Justin Adams, head of Bradford City NPT, said: "We welcome the sentence handed down to Zhang.

"This was an intelligence-led operation by neighbourhood officers, who managed to safeguard and protect two women from further harm."
