Families can celebrate Halloween with spooky stories, crafts and activities at one of Bradford’s oldest historic homes.
Bolling Hall Museum will host its annual Halloween Hyacinths event on Saturday, October 31, from 11am to 3pm, with activities for children and adults.
Councillor Ian Walker, Bradford Council’s executive member for neighbourhoods and communities, said: "Bolling Hall is a great place to visit at any time, but its history and atmosphere make it particularly special at Halloween.
"It’s a chance for families to come along, have some fun, try the activities and explore this fascinating building.
"A big thank you to all the volunteers who help make days like this possible."
Visitors can decorate plant pots, take home hyacinth bulbs, hear spooky stories and make Halloween crafts including waxy bookmarks and tissue-paper hyacinths.
Face painting and appearances by magical book characters will add to the fun.
Volunteer David Schofield will bring 17th-century resident Colonel Richard Tempest to life.
Entry and activities are free, but donations are welcome.
