A North East garden centre has unveiled its Christmas displays for 2026, with themed areas, glowing festive decorations and a new collection inspired by an enchanted winter wonderland.
Azure Garden Centre in Cramlington has revealed a series of Christmas themes, including Snowy Retreat and Enchanted Wishes, as its seasonal transformation gets underway.
The Snowy Retreat theme brings together the look of a snow-covered countryside and the warmth of a rustic cabin.
The display features three new colours – smokey pearl, ginger brown and blue dawn – alongside classic winter tones, creating what the garden centre describes as a contemporary take on traditional Christmas styling.
Another area, Enchanted Wishes, takes a different approach, combining emerald green, dusky pink and gold with rich velvet decorations and festive details.
One of the first experiences visitors encounter on their Christmas journey around the centre is the Christmas Dark Room of Lights, which features twinkling stars, glowing wreaths, sparkling villages and thousands of LED lights.
The garden centre said months of planning, buying, designing and building has gone into preparing its Christmas offering this year, thanking staff who had worked behind the scenes to bring the displays together.
On social media, people say they are "dying to go", praising the centre for having “the best display in the North East”.
Christmas is an established part of Azure's calendar, with the garden centre saying its seasonal displays attract visitors from across the region and beyond.
But the business offers more than decorations and festive inspiration.
Based on Station Road in Cramlington, Azure sells indoor and outdoor plants, garden furniture, pots, ornaments, water features, solar lighting and a wide range of gardening equipment.
You can also find a huge selection of Christmas trees.
The centre also has a gift area stocking items including homeware, novelty presents and greeting cards, while its Café Azure offers visitors somewhere to stop for food and drinks.
For those looking for a seasonal bite to eat, the café has introduced a festive bun with roast turkey, gravy, stuffing and cranberry sauce - with pigs in blankets served on the side.
Behind the retail business is Azure Charitable Foundation, whose work focuses on improving the lives of people who are disabled or disadvantaged.
The charity provides support, training and employment opportunities, with its businesses helping to fund its wider work and give people practical experience in the workplace.

The garden centre became part of the charity in 1991, after the privately owned business went into receivership and was bought by the organisation, then known as the SHAW Project.
It has since remained one of Azure's trading operations, combining its horticultural business with retail and training opportunities.
The centre is located on the western side of Cramlington, close to the A19 and A1, making it accessible to visitors from across Northumberland and the wider North East.
