Drug dealer jailed for seven years after police raid uncovers heroin and crack cocaine operation in Tadcaster
A drug dealer has been jailed after an investigation by North Yorkshire Police into the supply of heroin and crack cocaine in Tadcaster.
Oliver Hargreaves, 24, was arrested after officers executed an early-morning warrant at an address in the Gipton area of Leeds in May 2026.

The operation was carried out by North Yorkshire Police’s Sentry Team, with support from colleagues at West Yorkshire Police, as part of efforts to disrupt the supply of illegal drugs across the region.
During the raid, Hargreaves attempted to distance himself from the evidence against him by throwing his mobile phone out of a window.
He was arrested and later charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin between December 2025 and April 2026, as well as possession of cannabis.
Hargreaves, who has no fixed address, pleaded guilty to the offences.
At York Crown Court on 6 October 2026, he was sentenced to a total of seven years in prison.
North Yorkshire Police said the case demonstrated its commitment to working with neighbouring forces to tackle drug-related crime.
A spokesperson said: “North Yorkshire Police will work relentlessly with other police forces to investigate and disrupt those involved in the supply of illegal drugs in our area.”
