A POPULAR riverside venue has unveiled a new winter space that will allow it to expand its offer during the colder months.
The Riverfront York, based in Bishopthorpe, has announced the launch of its Riverfront Marquee - a new space is designed to give guests a warm and comfortable setting to enjoy the riverside throughout winter.
Kerrie Cook, director of The Riverfront York, said: "We are always looking for ways to enhance the experience for our visitors and create even more reasons for people to spend time at The Riverfront York throughout the year.

"The new marquee is a fantastic addition that gives guests somewhere warm, comfortable and welcoming to enjoy during the winter months, while also providing an exciting new space for events and private functions.
"We are looking forward to seeing it become a hub of activity over the coming season."

The marquee will offer extra covered seating for café bar visitors and will host seasonal events, live entertainment, and private bookings.
The Riverfront Marquee will be in place for the winter season only.
