The jury in the case of a North Yorkshire man accused of sexually assaulting a young child has been discharged.
The 12 jurors at York Crown Court failed to reach a verdict in the case of Benjamin Wynne, 34, of no fixed address.
He had denied the charge. No date has been set yet for a retrial.
