Yorkshire-born Great British Bake Off star Freya Cox will launch her brand-new cookbook at a special launch event in Malton.
The York-based baker and former Great British Bake Off contestant will join Gilly Robinson at The Cook’s Place in Malton on Wednesday 25 November at 7:30pm.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet Freya and hear the stories behind her latest collection of deliciously creative, plant-based bakes before the book officially launches.
The evening will offer guests a taste of Bake My Day, with Freya sharing three recipes from the new book, alongside insights into her baking journey and her passion for making plant-based baking accessible, imaginative and, above all, delicious.
“I bumped into Freya at a recent charity event and was delighted to hear that her second book was on its way,” said Gilly Robinson from The Cook’s Place.
“I was even more thrilled when she decided that The Cook’s Place would be a venue for her pre-launches!
“Knowing there is such an appetite for baking, and that more people are exploring a plant-based lifestyle, this is a real must-attend event for Yorkshire foodies. Freya is such a wonderful creative, and this beautiful book reflects her colourful personality.
“We know it’s going to be a really special evening, and we can’t wait to welcome her to Malton.”
Kemps Bookstore, based in Malton, will also be on hand with signed copies of Bake My Day available to purchase on the evening – making the event a particularly special opportunity for Yorkshire food lovers to meet Freya and get their hands on the new book before it officially hits the shelves.
