A bank headquartered in Bradford city centre has confirmed it is considering job cuts as part of wider transformation plans.
Vanquis, headquartered on Godwin Street, says some roles could be made redundant as part of a review of its operations "to build a simpler, more scalable business."
The Telegraph & Argus understands that about 60 roles are at risk.
What the bank said
A spokesperson for Vanquis said: "As part of our transformation and our aim to build a simpler, more scalable business, we regularly review how we are organised to ensure the business is set up for success.
"We have shared proposed changes with colleagues which could, subject to consultation, result in some roles being placed at risk of redundancy.
"We will support colleagues and consult carefully before any decisions are made.”
