Bradford has been named one of the most affordable cities in the UK for renting office space, according to new research.
Analysis by money.co.uk of nearly 4,000 commercial listings across 18 major cities found Bradford’s office rents average £12.20 per square foot per year, making it the second cheapest.
Only Sunderland offers lower rents, while Doncaster follows closely behind at £14.08 per square foot.
Joe Phelan, business loans expert at money.co.uk, said: "Rent prices for office premises vary widely between cities.
"In cities like Leicester, where office rent may not be as high, many businesses are still facing soaring operating costs and rising overheads, so for business owners deciding to expand or open a new office, choosing the right location is important."
Bradford’s rents are 39 per cent lower than Leeds and 13 per cent lower than Doncaster, helping businesses reduce fixed costs or expand more affordably.
