A Darlington drink driver who was more than twice the legal limit failed to turn up in court for sentencing.
A court has issued a warrant for Stephen Marshall, who had admitted drink-driving, driving without insurance and missing a previous hearing.
The 62-year-old was due to be sentenced at Newton Aycliffe Magistrates' Court on Thursday (October 8)
The bench issued a warrant for the arrest of Marshall, of Thompson Street West, Darlington, when he failed to attend.
Marshall admitted driving from Goosepool Hotel to the Golden Chef in Middleton St George and back on September 4.
He also admitted driving with 89 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath after his arrest.
