Cadbury has made a change to one of its long-standing chocolate bars, with it now launching in the larger Duo format for the first time.
The company's Crunchie bar is expanding into Duo formats this autumn, following recent launches of Cadbury Twirl Xtra and Cadbury Starbar Duo.
This has chocolate bars packaged as two separate finger-like portions in a single wrapper,
The Crunchie Duo will be sold in packs of 32 to supermarkets and will be priced at £1.35 per bar.
Cadbury owner Mondelez International said: "Each bar features Cadbury Crunchie’s signature golden honeycomb centre, coated in smooth Cadbury milk chocolate to deliver the brand’s familiar combination of crisp texture and indulgent taste."
Phoebe Morris, brand manager at Mondelez International, said: "We’re seeing a clear shift in consumer behaviour, particularly among shoppers looking for convenient treats that suit busy, on-the-go lifestyles.
"Formats that combine familiarity, great taste and convenience play an increasingly important role in snacking occasions throughout the day.
"Cadbury Crunchie Duo gives retailers another exciting way to meet that demand, bringing the much-loved Crunchie brand into a format designed for modern snacking habits."
The new Duo bars will be available from October in supermarkets and other retailers.
Cadbury bar previously not available in the UK now sold at B&M
Alongside the Crunchie Duo news, a Cadbury chocolate bar that had never been sold in the UK before is now available to buy in B&M.
Moro Gold bars have arrived on the shelves of the popular retailer after being imported from Australia.
The bar features a chocolate-flavoured centre packed with crunchy biscuit pieces, layered with caramel and coated in Cadbury milk chocolate.
While Moro has never previously been sold in the UK, it has previously been available in Ireland.
First launched in the 1980s, the original Cadbury Moro combined nougat, shortcake biscuit and caramel, all covered in Cadbury chocolate.

The bars remained on sale in Ireland until 2015, when they were rebranded to Boost.
Boost bars have been a fixture on UK shelves since 1985 and continue to be a popular choice among Cadbury fans.
