A spectacular bonfire night is to return to a leading Harrogate hotel next month.

This year's extravaganza at Rudding Park on Saturday, November 7 is set to be the biggest yet for the family-owned, award-winning luxury resort and hotel.

The evening will open with a Family Fire & LED Show with walkabout characters roaming the crowd and face painters on hand.

Then the bonfire will be lit and all eyes will turn skyward for a spectacular firework display set to music.

Independently-owned Rudding Park is located on the edge of Harrogate at Wetherby Road

5pm: Gates open.

5.45-6.15pm: Family Fire & LED Show, walkabout characters and face painters.

6.30pm: Bonfire lighting.

7pm: Fireworks.

It was in 1972 that the Mackaness family purchased Rudding Park and began the transformation of 2,000 acres of outstanding countryside into a luxury hotel, spa, golf and conference resort.
