Two outdoor artisan markets will take place this weekend, promising a celebration of seasonal crafts and regional flavours.

Organised by Little Bird Made, the events will take place on Saturday, October 10, in Easingwold and Acomb, with a focus on supporting the high street and promoting independent makers.

In Easingwold, the Artisan Market will run from 9am to 2pm in the Market Place, featuring handmade crafts, ceramics, home fragrances, jewellery, and autumn-themed gifts.

Jackie Crozier, managing director of Little Bird Made, said: "Autumn is one of our absolute favourite times of year to host our outdoor markets.

"As the days cool down, there’s nothing better than wrapping up warm, enjoying seasonal treats, and supporting independent makers who put so much heart into their craft."

In Acomb, the Flourish and Feast Market will take over Front Street from 10am to 3pm, offering hot street food, artisanal drinks, baked goods, and seasonal produce.

Duncan Burnett, owner of Cabinet 27, said: "As a small business, opportunities like the Flourish and Feast market in Acomb are absolutely vital."

Both markets are free to attend and are family- and dog-friendly.
