Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd has shared a rare update on his newborn daughter Constance during a podcast appearance.
The Pudsey-born actor and his wife, Hanni, welcomed Constance Ita Shepherd on June 26.
They have mostly kept their daughter out of the spotlight since her birth.
Shepherd appeared on the On The Sofa podcast with Coronation Street co-stars Colson Smith and Ben Price.
During the discussion, he described taking Constance swimming and answered a question about whether she had tried underwater swimming.
The actor said she had been dunked underwater during the lesson. Price explained that babies are born with reflexes which block their airways and slow their heart rates when submerged.
Mr Price said: "I think you have to do it when they're roughly newborn, but obviously she's not newborn now, she's three months, so I think that ship has sailed."
Shepherd also has three children from two previous relationships: daughter Nyla and son Ruben with ex-girlfriend Lauren Shippey, and son Greyson with Sammy Milewski.
Constance is the couple's first child together. Hanni and Shepherd said she had been born "peacefully at home" and "surrounded by love".
