A man who admitted his role in the summer riots must wait to learn his sentence.
Cieran Anderson was arrested after public disorder erupted in Hartlepool on July 31, 2024.
The 21-year-old was due to be sentenced at Teesside Crown Court, but the hearing was adjourned so he could find a new lawyer.
Recorder Christopher Rose adjourned the hearing until November 18.
Anderson, of York Road, Hartlepool, was released on unconditional bail.
Hundreds of people took to the streets with eggs, bricks, and rocks lobbed at police on Murray Street and the surrounding areas.

The riots followed the murders of children Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, in Southport by Axel Rudakubana.
Pictures from the scene showed protestors on Murray Street clashing with police who pushed back in an effort to remain in control.
Axel Rudakubana was sentenced in January 2025 to a minimum of 52 years in prison for murdering the three girls.
