The spa represents a significant investment by the owners of Gisborough Hall, which has a history stretching back centuries.

The estate's origins lie in the aftermath of the Dissolution of the Monasteries, when Sir Thomas Chaloner acquired the manor of Gisborough and the site of the former Gisborough Priory during the 16th century.
A manor house was built beside the priory ruins, although that property was later demolished in the early 19th century.
The present Grade II-listed mansion was commissioned by Admiral Thomas Chaloner in 1856 after he inherited the estate.
Built in an imposing Jacobean style, the hall has remained one of the area's most recognisable landmarks ever since.

Following the Second World War, when the building was requisitioned by the army, the hall served as a nursing home before later becoming a restaurant and banqueting venue.
In 2002 it underwent major refurbishment and was transformed into the four-star hotel now known across the region for weddings, conferences and luxury breaks.
The addition of Sakura Spa is the latest investment by the Chaloner family.
Lord Gisborough said: "As a family, we remain deeply committed to the long-term future of Gisborough Hall.
"The creation of Sakura Spa is a significant investment that reflects our belief in the potential of our hotel.
"For generations, the Chaloner family has been deeply rooted in this cherished corner of the country, committed not only to preserving its natural beauty but to nurturing the community.
