A County Durham school has been forced to close due to a water leak.
Seaham Trinity Primary School sent a message to parents this morning (October 7) to inform them of the closure.
The school apologised for the inconvenience but said that the school could reopen this afternoon if the issue is resolved quickly.
"Due to a major water leak in the school, we have had to take the decision to close school today," the message read.
"Hopefully we reopen later this afternoon if the issue can be resolved quickly.
"Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause."
It added that parents should check the Dojo education platform for more updates.
