A County Durham motorist who was found to have cocaine and cannabis-related drugs in her system while driving has been banned from the roads and ordered to undergo rehabilitation.
Carrie Davies, 43, of Forster Avenue, Murton, admitted three counts of driving over the legal drug limit on Surtees Way, Peterlee, on December 13, 2025.
Tests revealed that Davies, behind the wheel of a Ford vehicle, had levels of benzoylecgonine, THC, and cocaine above the prescribed legal limits.
She pleaded guilty on June 17 and returned to Peterlee Magistrates' Court on October 2 for sentencing.
