A garden centre is getting into the festive spirit with a weekend of Christmas celebrations.

Knaresborough Garden Centre will reveal its full range of seasonal displays and products, including the newly expanded Fern Christmas and Lighting collection during the launch event, taking place on October 17 and 18.

The launch is part of British Garden Centres’ national Christmas campaign, ‘Where Magic Begins.’

Matthew Lawson, centre manager, said: "Christmas at British Garden Centres is about so much more than decorations; it’s about bringing people together and making the season the best experience for everyone.

"Alongside our expanded Fern Christmas range and a fantastic selection of gifts for all ages, Knaresborough is the ideal place for shopping for the perfect present, finding inspiration for your home, or making memories, there’s something special for everyone."

Visitors will be among the first to explore the centre’s newly expanded Fern Christmas and Lighting collection, featuring a wide array of lights, decorations and home accessories.

The garden centre is also showcasing a large selection of toys, games, puzzles, homeware, and pet gifts, alongside its winter gardening range.

Family Card members will receive a 15 per cent discount across the entire Christmas range during the opening weekend.

People are encouraged to share their festive visits on social media using the hashtag #MagicBegins.

British Garden Centres is the UK’s largest family-owned garden centre group, with 80 centres nationwide and more than 3,500 employees.

The group is owned by the Stubbs family, who also own Woodthorpe Leisure Park in Lincolnshire.
