A vintage market featuring independent traders from across the North East will take over a university students’ union venue.
Thirteen sellers will gather at Teesside University Students’ Union in Middlesbrough for the town’s first all-vintage market, hosted by NE Vintage Takeover.
Teesside’s Biggest Vintage Market will take place on Friday, October 16, from 5pm to 9pm.
Neale McGeever, founder of NE Vintage Takeover, said: "I’m really excited to bring NE Vintage Takeover to Teesside for the first time.

"We’ve got 13 brilliant independent sellers coming from across the North East, all bringing something different with them.
"The idea behind NE Vintage Takeover is to bring great local vintage businesses together and take over interesting venues around the region.
"Middlesbrough has a great independent scene, so it felt like the perfect place for our first Teesside event.
"Whether you’re looking for Y2K, designer pieces, old football shirts, band tees, vinyl or something unique, there should be something for everyone.
"It’s free entry, the bar will be open, and we’d love to see as many people there as possible."

Stalls will feature Y2K fashion, streetwear, sportswear, designer pieces, band T-shirts, vinyl records, upcycled clothing and Pokémon cards.
The market aims to give shoppers an alternative to the high street while supporting independent businesses.

NE Vintage Takeover has previously staged events across the North East, giving independent vintage sellers a platform and bringing vintage markets to local communities.
Entry is free, and the Students’ Union bar will be open throughout the evening.
