Illegal tobacco, cigarettes and vaping products have been seized during an operation targeting suspected sellers in a town centre.
Neighbourhood Policing Officers joined Trading Standards on Friday as part of Calderdale Council's Operation Compass, which aims to tackle the sale of counterfeit and illicit products.
Several premises visited
Officers and Trading Standards staff visited a number of locations across Halifax.
The team was supported by a specialist tobacco detection dog, which was used to help identify hidden illicit products during searches of the premises.
A quantity of illegal goods was seized during the operation, although authorities have not released details of the exact amount recovered.
